Making the Scene (May 18-24, 1989)

Trent Reznor recently finished two tracks on the upcoming Nine Inch Nails project in Boston at Syncro Sound with veteran engineer/producer Flood. Among Flood's many credits are recordings by such artists as U2, Depeche Mode, Erasure, Soft Cell, Nick Cave, The Hothouse Flowers, Jesus & Mary Chain and Book Of Love. Soon after the sessions, Reznor landed in New York City, where he attended the premiere of the new Depeche Mode film, 101, with the band.
