Nine Inch Nails Opens Rehearsal To Fans

By Robert Mancini for MTV on November 1, 1999

On Tuesday, Nine Inch Nails wrapped up preparations for its European tour by inviting 100 fans into its final rehearsal session.

NIN mastermind Trent Reznor and company first gave fans a heads-up on their official Web site (www.nin.com) Tuesday morning, and then offered tickets to their final rehearsal in London through their record company's UK office.

The lucky 100 who made it into the show were the first to see the musical and visual tricks that NIN plans to pull out on its twelve-date swing through Europe. The official NIN site has posted one image of guitarist Robin Finck and drummer Jerome Dillon prepping for the show and plans to unveil more such behind the scenes shots in the coming weeks.

Nine Inch Nails kicks off its European tour on Sunday in Barcelona, Spain and plans to tour the States early next year. Before that, nin.com will stage a contest that will see one fan head abroad to see the band's last European date on December 1 at London's Brixton Academy.
