Inside the Pretty Hate Machine

While surfing the WWW looking at Nine Inch Nails pages, I realized something. I have never seen an actual explaination as to what the cover of Pretty Hate Machine is. Well, from a source I do not remember at the present time, I will relay the information.

The cover of Halo 2, Pretty Hate Machine is actually a picture of the blades of a turbine. The angle is offset to create the illusion of something more, but if you look close enough you can see evidence to support this. People have said that it conveys an image of ribs or bone structure of some for. This is perhaps the hidden meaning of the picture, mixed in with the unique color variations.

There is also a lot of speculation as to what the meaning is for the pink and blue coloring, if there is any. But of course, opinion is just a personal examination and conclusion based on individual thoughts. So I don't think it would benefit anyone to say that "this" or "that" is the actual meaning of the logo. But the fact of the matter is that the picture is simply a modified color picture of the blades of a turbine. But the meaning is much more.
