FYI:

If you hate yourself enough to have been paying attention to nin.com lately, you might have noticed that Trent McReznorson has been turning on his internet camera again lately. As was the case back in the early 60's when the camera was last online, there have been lots of exciting things going on for us to stare at longingly from our parents' basements.

For example, did you know that Trent has a computer? I was totally unaware of this fact until last night, when the camera was pointed at his computer screen for about eight hours. I immediately called all my friends to share this awesome news with them, and now I officially have no friends! Apparently Trent likes to use this computer to open music programs and absent-mindedly move the faders up and down. I use mine to look at the naked ladies, but to each their own I guess.

Dave "Dave Grohl" Grohl, who used to play in an obscure industrial rock outfit called Nirvana, has apparently managed to tolerate Trent's overpowering body odor long enough to hang out for a while and say funny things. Dave Grohl funny. Dave Grohl make Trent laugh. Tell funny joke, Dave Grohl. Lol. He also spent a few minutes banging on the drums, you know, since that's what he does for a living and all. Dave must be a really charitable guy, taking time from his busy schedule of making music that gets heard to waste a day making music that won't. I suppose that's why he gets paid the big bucks.

This went on for five hours.

Now, I bet you're thinking "Gee, Meathead, I don't think nin.com could get any cooler and/or more thrilling than that crap you just talked about ten seconds ago!" (assuming you're severely retarded). Well, you're right. It can't. But we did get another "update" in the form of the following text (bullshit highlighted in red):

fuck yeah. we have finished the surround mixes for ASDFKCJKNBAGIERT with james brown, and are about to head back to new orleans to begin work with alan moulder. we're in the midst of a very inspiring recording session that has everyone thrilled. we're working on a new batch of songs trent just wrote and we cannot wait for you to hear them. there are lots of surprises in store, wish i could tell you what they are. soon.

I'll admit, they almost had me there. But then they just had to tack on the "s" word right there at the end. Way to go! By the way, just out of curiosity, what song batch are we on now? 148? I was under the impression that the recording process ends at some point. Oh well. "Soon!" I'll take comfort in the idea that perhaps my grandchildren will get the opportunity to hear batch number 1.

I don't know what else to put here so I'm just going to say that I had a banana for breakfast and Atom Heart Mother by Pink Floyd rules.
