The first concert I'd ever attended was Nine Inch Nails and David Bowie at the Nissan Pavilion in 1995, with Prick opening the show. We got seats in the back of the pavilion, and even though the show was awesome (they played Closer to God!) my view was definitely lacking. Time went on, other tours came and went, but even with the release of Closure, there didn't seem to be any decent photos or video recordings from the tour, even amongst bootleggers. The first high quality video from around this time that emerged was the Night of Nothing DVD uploaded to The Pirate Bay near the end of 2007. I personally had given up seeking out anything from this tour, despite the unusual setlist.
So it's with great delight that I share with you these pro-shot videos with stereo soundboard audio, which showed up on Vimeo and have been sitting there quietly for two months before someone brought them to our attention. Note how in "Hallo Spaceboy" you've got both Chris Vrenna and Charlie Clouser on drums, with pretty much all of Bowie's band on stage accompanying NIN. What an awesome show.
