A surprise from ThisOneIsOnUs

RIP EYBYou may have heard, former NIN Hotline staffer and occasional twitter personality who in most circles went by the handle eatyourblud passed away this week, on March 28. You may not have met Mick Gambrell, but if you've had any exposure to the bootleg circuit, you've probably watched or heard something that he's been responsible for liberating - most notably, the hours of behind-the-scenes footage from the making of the Closure video, and his interviews & live essentials series. Though he certainly was going through hard times, his passing came as a surprise to friends and family alike. His funeral was held yesterday, and...

...we were able to sneak in several ETS memebers to bootleg it! Featuring multiple angles, behind-the-scenes footage, and a 5.1 surround mix created from the soundboard and tapers in the crowd! The double-disc set will be available free as a torrent, but I don't need to tell you what will happen if we find you selling copies on eBay...

Okay, so, now I'm going to get serious. Mick left behind two wonderful children, who, for the years that I knew him, were a constant source of happiness and pride. In trying to make something good out of this sad moment, we his online friends are donating and raising money to hopefully help make things better for them. You can and should read the details on that link. If you've ever downloaded a bootleg, if the name eatyourblud rings a bell, please consider sending something their way. And take a moment to give him an upboat.

Rest in peace, Mick.
