Ritual Tool

The Daily Grail has posted an article on Occult Rock

Ritual Tool

Another band to use the Tree of Life on their album packaging in more recent years is the acclaimed American progressive rock/metal band (who can categorise them?) What’s more, they do so with a level of thought and contemplation which seems light years ahead of their peers. In the words of Blair MacKenzie Blake, a close personal friend of the band, Tool have been known to…

Guitar Center announced November 10th that Tommy Lee and the Street Drum Corps' Frank Zummo will present "Bezerk" - an exclusive project commissioned by Guitar Center, featuring some of today's top drummers and artists - as part of the upcoming Drum-Off Grand Finals, taking place January 8, 2010 at The Wiltern in Los Angeles. Artists performing in "Bezerk" include Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Matt Sorum (Guns 'N Roses, Velvet Revolver), Jose Pasillas (Incubus), DJ Aero, Sully Erna (Godsmack), Jay Weinberg, BANG! and others to be announced. Guitar Center will also induct drum icons Billy Cobham and John Bonham into Guitar Center's Drum Legends as part of the evening's festivities.

In lieu of Tool Army...

...we do actually still have a Tool forum over at Echoing the Sound. Though it's best days weren't even all that good, it's still a decent place to take up residence while you wait for Tool Army to get back on its feet.

Also keep a watch on Fourth Eye (as if you aren't already) as Matt over there is taking this opportunity to explore further social enhancements to that site.

P.S. did you hear the 30 second clips from the upcoming Puscifer single on Amazon yet?
